Sir and Madame | Ukrainian Village - Chicago, IL.
Tucked away on Damen ave. is Sir and Madame, an amazing boutique run by Brian Merritt and his wife Autumn.
Carrying the likes of Creep, Mark McNairy, and pieces from 3sixteen and LVC, they have crafted a distinct vision on contemporary menswear.
They recently opened up a new location in Hyde Park at 1504 e. 53rd so be sure to stop by if you are in the area.
Brian and Autumn run one of my favorite stores in Chicago, hands down. They’ve proven that a carefully selected set of merchandise and a clear vision can succeed in a tough market. Kudos.
Lula’s | Logan Sq. - Chicago, IL.
New favorite brunch spot.
And one of the only places that can cook eggs over medium the right way.
Always a great brunch
Rocking Horse | Logan Sq. - Chicago, IL.
Test driving #LunchontheLow prepared by @FleshForFood. Everything was delicious. Thanks Homie! (at Lunch on the Low)
This Wednesday at the Bedford we are celebrating the Blind Barber pop up shop at the new Haberdash location on Roosevelt.
There will be:
- good times
- nice fades
- free booze
- ratchet ass music
And the homie, Tony Trimm is spinning. Anyone who came out to the Proper Suit party in May knows how we get down.
After spending over a decade working in men's fashion and retail, I figured it was about time to start sharing everything I've learned and loved over the years. I use my background in Anthropology and Archaeology as a lens to view the clothing men wear everyday and the lifestyle they choose to lead. I'm not just excited about the way an ensemble looks, but rather interested in why and how it was put together and what that means about our society.
